Dr. Jana Šiftová serves as a guest editor of a Special Issue of Sustainability journal (ISSN 2071-1050, IF: 2.576) entitled “Urban Agriculture and Sustainable Urban Development Planning”. More information  can  be found here.

Online conference of the Share City project will run from September 22^nd to September 24^th with a diverse line up of talks about food sharing from researchers and practitioners. Watch the videos available here. The videos will be available two weeks after the conference.

The annual Agriculture, Food & Human Values Society conference will take place in Athens, Georgia, from 27 to 30 May, 2020. The theme will be food justice, with a keynote by Monica White. This is a great interdisciplinary food systems conference, co-sponsored by the Association for the Study of Food & Society; and this upcoming conference should be especially interesting. The Tenth International Conference on Food Studies will be held at Marymount Manhattan College, New York City, New York, 17–18 October 2020. The deadline for early bird registration is on the 17 January 2020. More information about the conference is available here.

Plant Health, Agriculture & Bioscience Conference will take place between 9 and ​11 September 2020 in The Hague, Netherlands. The subtitle of the conference is: From invasive species, to crop management practices & digital solutions. The PHAB 2020 Conference aims to connect various stakeholders in the plant health field, on a broad range of topics to enable a sustainable future. One of the fourth thematic tracks of the conference is The future of food.
